Update from IGI: Exciting Developments Ahead!

As we wrap up Week 3 and reach the census date, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our students and staff for their dedication and hard work. Your commitment to excellence is what drives the International Graduate Institute forward, and we’re excited about the rest of the trimester ahead.

In response to your feedback, we’ve added two new workshops to support your academic journey. Join us for our Citing and Referencing Workshop, designed to help you master the art of proper citation and avoid plagiarism. Additionally, our Research Skills Workshop will equip you with the tools you need to conduct thorough and effective research. These workshops are on our Moodle site, but I’ll also be running a workshop on researching your assessments this coming Tuesday (18th June) at 11 am in the Study Hub on level 5 (opposite the kitchen).

Indeed, with assessments approaching in the next few weeks, we encourage you to reach out to our lecturers if you need any assistance. They are here to support you and ensure you are well-prepared for all your assignments.

We are also thrilled to welcome Dr Winifred Murray to the IGI family. Dr Murray will be taking over BUS202: Business Law, which will be held on Tuesdays from 8-11am in Room 5.10. We are confident that her expertise and enthusiasm will greatly benefit our students.

Once again, thank you to everyone for making the start of this trimester a success. Let’s continue to strive for excellence and make the most of the opportunities ahead.

Warm regards,

Dr Alexander Paul Roper
IGI Dean
